Wasn't I *tiny* back then in late January, and exhausted and frightened. I had only arrived at ten the previous evening on my long journey from Romania, but had spent the night curled in a warm bed, with quiet and food and drink, and mum checking on me all the time, reassuring me and giving me long cuddles and talking softly to me. I had a new Scottish name she told me: Haggis. I am still not sure what a Haggis is? I went to sleep on her lap moments after this. In fact because I was so tiny and had not recovered from cat flu I spent most of my first two weeks in Scotland eating (lots and lots of amazing food!!), sleeping, and cuddling. I sensed other furry ones around, they padded up softly to have a look, then settled close to mum. I am the centre of attention in a quiet, caring, cuddly way....
